French English Dictionaries - the electronic answer.
These electronic French English dictionaries really are go-anywhere devices. I've got the Franklin pictured here and it easily slips into a jacket pocket so I can take it everywhere I go. My wife just slips it into her bag - it's about the same size a mobile phone. In three years it's been used and abused and it's gone through just one set of batteries. Personally I think this little thing is astonishing. Franklin have teamed up with French dictionary experts Larousse to produce an electronic device which can give 2,000,000 English to French and French to English translations (no I didn't make a typing error that is 2 million). It also conjugates hundreds of French verbs, has 2,000 travellers phrases, learning exercises, a calculator and even an organiser with telephone book and world clock! And this isn't a high-end version! There are more expensive ones that will talk to you! There are dozens of different types so one is bound to suit you.
